India eVisa — General Information
Once we receive your eVisa application and confirm your payment, your Electronic Travel Authorization for India is sent by email. Processing is usually fast — from a few hours up to 72 hours.
Your India eVisa is valid for 1 year from the date of issue and allows multiple entries. You will have 30 days to use this ETA from the date it is issued, so we recommend applying once your travel dates are confirmed.
The Electronic Travel Authorization for India has been required since 2015. You can apply entirely online — there is no need to visit an embassy or consulate. If you need help at any stage, our support team is available 7 days a week to assist with your submission or answer questions about your application.
What You'll Need to Apply
Valid Passport
With at least 6 months' validity remaining from your date of arrival.
Valid Email Address
Your approved India eVisa will be sent back to this address.
ID Photo
A recent photo in passport ID photo size.
